Implementation of modular platforms

In order to improve competitiveness, a new process concept for the development of product and production architectures across product groups was to be implemented at an industrial equipment manufacturer. In addition to piloting the corresponding methods and principles, the organizational anchoring was also implemented.

Derivation of rules and targeted adaptation of processes and organizational structure including roles, tasks and responsibilities

Results

The methods for developing product and production architectures across product groups were successfully proven and implemented as part of the pilot project
A concept for implementation of the methodology into the processes and the organization was developed
