At a Tier 2 automotive supplier, which predominantly  manufactures products required by customers, potential for improvement regarding unnecessary product and process complexities was to be identified and options for action to be derived. In this context, a gap analysis of the existing and the future business complexity required based on the positioning and the growth strategy was carried out for all relevant areas.
